With over 25 years in the industry Katie’s loyal following reflects a diverse range of attitudes, flair and lifestyles. Katie prides herself on her dedication to continuing education and her consistent drive to excel artistically while keeping a pulse on the latest trends, techniques and treatments. Whether the look you want to achieve is bold and wild or subtle and mild, Katie can do it all.
An international educator and platform artist, Katie Nielsen has a passion for creating beauty!
As the former Global Design Team and Academy Training Director for Scruples Professional Hair Care Katie traveled the globe teaching fellow stylists the latest trends and techniques in modern hairdressing. She was also responsible for creating the annual collections as the Lead Session Stylist for the brand from 2016-2020.
Katie is a North American Hairstylist of the Year Award Winner and 2x Finalist with her team Beauty Underground which she co-founded.
Her national team of award winning stylists sponsors designers at New York Fashion Week and Miami Swim Week.
Currently Katie is a Master Educator for Demeral La Bellezza Italiana USA promoting the brand and educating hair colorists on the green and sustainable benefits and uses of the line.
